Big decisions

My husband and I just asked my brother and his wife to be Turtle's godparents. We'll be adding their names to all things official and, God forbid, if anything were to happen, Little Man would go to live with them. I dreaded thinking about this, but in order to be prepared ...

So this is how wonderful my brother is: I'm trying to explain to him that we would be adding his name to our life insurance policies and making plans for our belongings in our will and do you know what he said? The money doesn't matter - we'd make it work no matter what we had to do. "We (he and his wife) just want to know what you want for Turtle." His concerns weren't "how am I going to afford this," but what life goals do we have in mind for our son? He wants to sit down with us and make sure he knows all the things we want to give him so in the event something horrible should happen, he would know. How cool is that? I don't think I could ask for better family. They are truely God's gift.

I have a comment. You both will never know how proud your mother and I are of you both. Love will always endure no matter what life has in store for us. God has truly blessed my family and for that I will for ever be thankful. Papa
